In partnership with DARE. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office partners with the Stafford County Public Schools to teach the DARE program to the more than 2,200 5th grade students each year. The DARE program is a 10 week program that teaches children to make safe and responsible decisions to help them make healthier choices across all parts of their lives including drugs, violence, bullying, and internet safety. The strategies taught help prepare children to act decisively and responsibly in difficult decisions. While teaching children to make safe and responsible decisions the DARE program also builds trust between them and law enforcement, reinforcing community based prevention and community oriented policing.

Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal.

Kids 1-Miler – $15 (Cotton T-Shirts)
10k – $40, until Oct 31 ($45)
5k – $25, until Oct 31 ($30)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before Oct 30. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around 45 minutes before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
