Start off this great American holiday with a fast, flat 5k, 10k & Half in the heart of Georgetown near the Nation’s Capital. Both events run on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path and benefit the Wounded Warrior Project just before the 4th of July weekend.
Walkers and strollers are welcome to attend this event.

Race Start Times
Half – 7:30am
10k – 7:45am
5k – 8am
Registration Fees
5k – $25, until June 15 ($30)
10k – $40, until June 15 ($45)
Half – $60, until June 15 ($65)
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before June 16. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

Race Day Registration
There will NOT be race day registration. The park service does not allow it.
Directions to Parking
For parking, there are several parking garages and spaces along Water Street. If you use the address for the Potomac Boat Club (3530 Water St NW, Washington, DC 20007) that will get you near the Start/Finish Line. Once you are on Water St, look for parking. It will be difficult to turn around if you follow the GPS all the way to the Boat Club.
