Come out and enjoy this scenic 5k/10k through the trails of Mason District Park.
In partnership with Spikes K9. Our mission is to provide quality training, care, and protection to both active and retired working dogs under the service of the military, law enforcement, search and rescue, and other public safety organizations. We were founded in 2014 by retired Naval Special Warfare Operator (SEAL), K9 Handler, Purple Heart recipient, Yale University student, author of Touching the Dragon – James Hatch.
Walkers are welcome to attend this event.
Now offering a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day. You will receive a medal.
Race Start Times
10k - 7:45am
5k - 8am
Registration Fees
5k – $25, until Aug 15 ($30)
10k – $40, until Aug 15 ($45)
***Price will increase on race morning by $5 for each distance
T-shirts guaranteed to runners registered before Aug 17. We will order extra t-shirts for those who register after that date, but it is on a first-come first-served basis.

At the event (one hour before the race starts).
Race Day Registration
There will be race day registration. Participants will need to arrive around 45 minutes before the race to get registered for the event. T-shirts sizes can not be guaranteed for race day registers.
Directions to Parking
Use 6621 Columbia Pike, Annandale, VA 22003 for directions to Mason District Park. We will be meeting near Shelter B (turn left when you enter the park off of Columbia Pika).
